Leaves are often sharply serrated.Rayjacksonia phyllocephala, or Camphor daisy, has thick, succulent leaves with edges that vary from smooth with a few sharp points to a jagged sawtooth. When crushed, they give off a distinctive camphor odor. The stems may be erect or sprawling in large, irregular patches. Flowers appear sporadically throughout the year. The blooms are yellow and resemble a cross between a daisy and a dandelion, with long sepals that may envelop the petals.
