Sida acuta

Common wireweed

Sida acuta, or Common wireweed, is similar to its cousin S. lindheimeri but has leaves that quickly taper to a point, and it is more widespread along the Gulf Coast. Flowers, which may be yellow to orange, are generally a bit larger.
